THIS SECTION COLLECTS design work from either sections of larger operas or short operettas during my time at RWCMD.

Opera Scenes

I was fortunate to be one of nine costume designers for Opera Scenes, which collects a myriad of popular classical opera exerts all under a common theme, this one being "Gothic". The scenes I was able to design for was Falstaff's letters (which I reimagined as a modern-day set of gothic fashionistas reading texts), and Pa-Pa-Pa-Papageno and Just Quiet, Quiet from the Magic Flute (done in the style of Dark Fantasy). It was a fun challenge given the near-zero budget, and it was a brilliant show despite the cobwebs lining the production's wallets.

Wake Up - A Digital Opera

From near-zero to absolute-zero! This budgetless filmed production sent me back to my undergratuate degree in Film Production being behind the scenes. A simple set of outfits that were easily procured from the RWCMD costume stores and my own wardrobe!
